OPERATION ACCOUNTABILITY - Target Store 2-10-12

If you would like to read more go to  Target's Facebook Page

Joan Clayton
Target, you need to have respect for your couponing guest. From the CEO to the stockers, an attitude of respect and professionalism with couponers needs to be the culture of the Target team. Across the US, there has been too many complaints about abusive treatment. Target now has the reputation among couponers , bloggers, vloggers, customers, and fashionistas become recess...ionistas as a place where they'll be treated as a criminal if they try to save money. It's bad enough that the cashiers and LODs are clueless about the coupon policy on Target's website, but when they bring out intimidating security guards(LossPrevention) who compliantly agree with managers to things that go against your written coupon policy and then hover at registers like USSR guards inspecting coupons, you've crossed the line. Me and my fellow couponers have had horrible experiences using coupons at your store. We no longer deem it a family friendly store.............................................................
Target.. I have a love-hate relationship with your stores. I love shopping there, but I hate checking out! I use coupons (just like the many others who have commented here today) and have never gotten anything other than a hard time from your cashiers. I DO know, and follow, your coupon policy. It seems, however, that your employees are not shown or even told about it during training! I have gotte...n so frustrated with your employees and the way I am talked down to and looked down on that I have not shopped at one of your stores for over 3 months. I will continue to steer clear until I begin to hear some Positive reviews from fellow couponers. It is a sad day (in my opinion) when Walmart customer service is better than yours..........................................
Please help me with this...Thank you.

Thank you to the Target Corporation for allowing its customers to use coupons. Unfortunately, for a lot of people using coupons
I am a couponer who has had many favorable experiences shopping at Target However, this is not always the case. Sometimes I encounter cashiers who do not understand the coupon policy. This causes stress for all concerned and makes checkout a lengthy process. It would be really helpful if the cashiers/mangers were trained on how to interpret the policy. Also having easy access to the policy would be great. Any assistance you can prov
Target I'm a couponer simple answer to our entire problem. 1 Yes you have the policy but make sure all your employees knows it. 2. Have a copy at each register they can get to it. 3. Let them know this is another form of money and the company gets the face value plus 8 cents for each coupon this adds up and helps keep the stores open and them working. 4. I like going to Target and I like couponing I would like to do them both together without feeling like I’m a criminal. Thank you ide in this matter will be appreciated
Target offers coupons on their web site; corporate must be ok with coupons. The workers: not so much. Stressful. It was almost closing time and she was extremely irritated by my Qs. When she got done she crumpled them like garbage and shoved them in her drawer. The girl didn't scan my Nerf coupon. I didn't realize until I looked at my receipt. I stepped back over to her and told her she hadn't s...canned the coupon _ I had her call a manager over- Manager opened the coupon drawer and said 'what happened here' when she opened coupon drawer-seeing the crumpled mess; the cashier didn't answer- OK long story short-manager fixed it. Got home and double checked my receipt and found that she didn't scan my printer ink. she was so irritated with me useing coupons she was in a big hurry and never scanned my printer ink. cashiers act as if we are trying to rip them off by using coupons. Instead she ripped off the company buy not scanning the ink.
OPERATION ACCOUNTABLITY: On the opposite side of the coin--->I am a new couponer, I have heard horror stories about the treatment of couponers in your establishment; therefore, I was somewhat afraid to go into your store with my coupons. I must say, I went in today, I only purchased a couple of items but I used all my coupons and every thing was A-OK. I hope to have a similar experience in the future. Thanks
Operation Accountability: first, i'd like to thank you for maintaining neat stores with employees committed to customer service. as a new user of coupons, i believe that it would make the shopping experience more pleasant if all service personnel were adequately trained in your coupon policy and if the policy were readily available to all personnel at all time. again, thank you

2 Kohl's stores get EV charging via ut san diego

Kohl’s Department Stores this week announced that the company will pilot electric vehicle charging stations at 33 Kohl’s stores nationwide, including stores in Chula Vista and Santee.
No word as of now when the charging stations will begin operating; the Kohl's representatives listed on the press release didn't respond to questions emailed Friday about the schedule and cost. Customers will be able to activate the charging stations in various ways including radio frequency identification (RFID) cards available at the Kohl’s customer service desk and via phone numbers provided on the charging stations.
Each store will have two EV stations installed by ECOtality Inc:
  • Santee store: 9412 Mission Gorge Road
  • Chula Vista store: 1870 Main Court
The stations will be in place at least through the end of 2012. This is part of a large infrastructure pilot program funded in part by the U.S. Department of Energy through a federal stimulus grant under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. More information about The EV Project is available at [theevproject.com].
Kohl's said the stations are part of the chain's commitment to being a leading environmentally responsible retailer. Information on Kohl’s environmental efforts: [KohlsGreenScene.com]
Based in Menomonee Falls, Wis., Kohl’s is a family-focused, value-oriented specialty department store offering moderately priced, exclusive and national brand apparel, shoes, accessories, beauty and home products in 1,127 stores.

Here is the low-down on fruit codes Irradiated or not : via thetruthergirls

Here is the low-down on fruit codes:
4-digit code starting with 4: conventionally grown
4- digit code starting with 3: conventionally grown but irradiated. This most often includes papayas, oranges, and pomegranates. It can also include pineapples, but they don't always have stickers, so you can't always be sure.
5- digit code starting with 9: organic.
5-digit code starting with 8: GMO! Fortunately, they are rare among fresh produce with tags, but packaged fruit like strawberries and tomatoes can be GMO and not have stickers because they are in a box, so I try to make sure that I buy organic or at least local when it comes to those two.

Free Coupons @ Walmart via Playa: roush9799

I noticed at my Wal mart the other morning...

where you walk in on the non food side there is a huge box, it's full of clipped coupons. It says share your unused coupons. I didn't have time to go thru it to see if there were any worth grabbing. I figured I'd go in with some I don't need early some morning when there's no crowd and see what it has to offer click here

An Article in Entrepreur Magazine: - Death by Coupon: How To Provent Losses from Extremee Couponing Practices

MUST READ!!!

How to Stop Losing Money From Coupons

Looking at bare shelves and harried cashiers? It's possible that you've been visited by a disciple of TLC's Extreme Couponing, a cable television show that educates viewers about getting cartloads of goods for pennies on the dollar. To protect themselves from losses, some of the country's major food and drug retailers are changing their policies. Retail consultant Bob Phibbs, author of The Retail Doctor's Guide to Growing Your Business, thinks independents should also revisit their policies.
"You don't want to encourage these people to shop with you," Phibbs says. "They're not the people who are going to make your business." To build as big a wall as possible between you and potential extreme couponing losses, he suggests a few simple policy changes.
No buy-one-get-one-free (BOGO) deals with other promotions. The cartfuls of free merchandise extreme coupon users score are often the result of BOGO promotions combined with BOGO coupons. By disallowing such combined promotions, you eliminate that risk, Phibbs says.
Cut the copycats. Limiting the number of identical coupons--perhaps two or four--per purchase or per customer can eliminate buyers walking off with all your inventory for free or at a deeply discounted price. If your point-of-sale system can track it, you may also consider limiting the number of identical coupons customers can use over a specific time period, such as no more than four in a month. However, Phibbs admits, that can be trickier to track.
Related: The Dark Side of Discounts
Accept others' coupons cautiously. If you accept other retailers' coupons, be sure that you apply your own limits to them to avoid paying for the mistakes of your competitors, Phibbs advises. Also, pay attention to expiration dates and other limitations.
Post policies clearly. Whether you're making changes to your policies or you're simply making them public for the first time, Phibbs says they should be posted near your cash register so customers are aware that extreme couponing practices are not welcome in your store.
Don't allow "coupon bullies." Some hard-core coupon users can be aggressive about getting what they want. This can be a drain on your staff, and may require your intervention. "Sometimes you may have a situation where someone is in line screaming that they want 50 of this for the price of one,"
Phibbs says. "Think about what that does to your employee. It ruins them for the rest of the day. Set your policies and back up your employees when they enforce them and you shouldn't have a problem."

I did'nt Know Kroger's Fuel run $125 charge on your Credit Card when you Purchase Gas

NOTE * Looked online at my credit card statement and saw there was (2) $125 pending charging.  $250 . Called the credit card company because I thought someone had charged on my credit card. I was told some gas pump (Krogers was one) run the $125 amount on your card even though you only purchase $10 worth of gas.

After spending over $8 @ McDonalds-I asked for a cup of ice for Water- This is what They gave Me.
