New coupon policy at walmart? I was made to feel like a degenerate criminal thief on top of walmart in north fayette pa KEEPING MY CATALINAS! not only did i NOT complete my purchase, but was asked to leave the store because i had an "illegal" copy of walmart's coupon policy that i handed the manager. I have never been treated so AWFULLY in my life for trying to give a business my money. I was unaware that it was such an inconviniance for walmart to take my money. Appearently now they are allowed to steal coupons they do not recognize! This is outrageous and deplorable and walmart should be ashamed of themselves. Coupon friendly? NO WAY!!!
Holy Cow! This didn't even happen to me and I'm wanting to call corporate about this! I'm typically not a violent or confrontational person, but if a Walmart employee dared to try and KEEP one of my hard-earned register rewards, I believe I would've clawed someone's eyes out. Actually, as far as I'm concerned, that's considered THEFT and I would've called the police.
ReplyDeleteI certainly hope this person contacted corporate about this! They won't know problems are occurring unless we notify them. I mean, seriously, doesn't anyone have a computer and internet in the store somewhere??? Why not have the customer moved to customer service while they look up the policy, instead of embarrassing them and insulting them?
It's sad, but when someone has an encounter like this -- with an ignorant employee, manager, etc. -- it just makes all of us more nervous to even ATTEMPT making use of the new policy, so it defeats the efforts that Walmart is trying to make. They want our couponing business? THEN TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES AND STORE MANAGERS!!! Is it really so hard to send out an URGENT memo to all store managers, in every Walmart store, regarding this issue??
Sorry for leaving such a long comment -- I just got HEATED. LOL
I don't know why some managers don't even take the time to keep up with the company policy. Better yet read their own company's facebook page.
