I am NOT a huge Walmart fan either, but I printed it out and then went on in to try it out. My cashier manually typed in my Reach Floss coupons at 97¢, I asked her why and she said that they were not allowed to give an overage. I then showed her the policy, she questioned if it was real or not, because they had not heard that Walmart had a new coupon policy. She allowed the overage for all my coupons, but wasn’t too happy about it. All in all, it was the best Walmart experience I have had in over a year, but still not something I am going to do very often. I will stick with Rite Aid!

Went to Walmart today. Not a huge fan, but wanted try out the new policy. The cashier called the manager over to ask about the purex coupons. I showed them both the policy. They were aware of the changes, but just wanted to double check. They rang it all up for me. I also used a Harris Teeter Silk catalina. They were confused as to what to do. They ended up marking down the price of the soymilk. I forgot to use my RR. That would have thrown them for a loop. All in all it went well. I used my overage to purchase a few other things.

Well, I went on Saturday night and it took a long time but they gave me money back and were very nice.
Today I went to a different Walmart (cause I had more coupons) and they were nice but would not do it. They said the picture on the coupon showed a bigger size. There was no size limit on the coupon. I would have wait and made them call corporate except I had already been there 45 minutes and needed to pick up my daughter. I am writing and email about. They were friendly but would not use it.

in the past i have usually gotten the overage anyway. it’s nice that it’s their policy now. i actually learned about the new policy at my local walmart before i saw it online so naturally they were decent at that store. 2 subsequent trips to 2 other walmarts also turned out well. but the walmarts around here have always been mostly good experiences for me.
i do not want to get cash back. i will continue to spend my overage with items to buy. i don’t want to abuse such a groovy policy. i would like the policy to stick around awhile.
