H-E-B'S GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Krogers Take Notes... via Playa: Frugal Darling
So you guys remember the problem I had with the Coffee-Mate Creamer deal at HEB, right? HEB had their Coffee-Mate Liquid Creamers on sale Buy 2 get 1 FREE with in-store coupon. So I'd tried to buy 3, use 2 FREE coupons I'd received in the mail, and the Yellow In-store coupon for a 3rd one FREE. Needless to say, this ended up being a pain. The coupon wouldn't validate, the cashiers and customer service reps didn't know why it wasn't working, the line was long, my ice cream was melting, etc. In the end, I left the store with only the 2 FREE Coffee-Mates, but emailed HEB headquarters the next day to report the issue.
Several days later, I received a personal email from a local store manager, explaining that she wanted to

Companies Snooping on You Through the Camera on Your Computer - Aaron's Rentals Caught spying on Customer- Aaron's Rental installed secret software on laptops that let them track keystrokes, sceenshots and webcam images of customers
Aaron’s stores spying on users that rent computers?By Shane McGlaun
Aaron's Rental store spying on customers thru computers- taking photos by toolstarr
There is a lawsuit claiming Aarons Rental spied on a couple through their computer. A manager even came to their house with a photo taken with the computers webcam.
Why would a rental company need to spy on it's customers? Especially with video and images. That is just creepy. Reminds me of a while back when that school was accused of doing the same thing on laptops it lent the students. Click here
PC rental store sued for alleged Webcam spying by Chris Matyszczyk .
When you rent out your house, it's always tempting to visit your renters to check that they are happy--and to see that the walls are still in place.
So if you were a PC rental store, would you think to check up on your renters occasionally? Perhaps with those frightfully innovative Webcams? click here

Overheard Cashier and Bagger talking about a Couponer @ Foodtown Beltway 8/Beechnut
I went to Food Town tonight, as I was checking out the bagger told the cashier look at her she is buying sugar now. She said the manager get mad at her for using all those coupons. I turned around to see who she was talking about. A couponers was buying 10 packages of sugars. Five people had purchase 10 packages of sugar as I stood in the line and they didn't say a word about the other five. Two women and three men. So I asked the bagger what was wrong with her buying the 10 packages of sugar when she didn't say anything about the other fives. She look at me and said "she is using coupons". Then I asked whats wrong with that. She said "she always use coupons". And????

Walmart end up giving me $1000 Gift Card in which I purchased $331 and ONLY SPENT $22.17 of the card. I GOT A LOT OF STUFF FREE, including 55 ivory 3 pack soaps, 50 Carefree Pantyliners, 25 Free Tubes of toothpaste... and the list goes on. I even am still using $5 off any Similac Product. That $1000 if going a LONG way! But for you, if you want action, you have to do what I did, write the ethics board on their website..AND MOST IMPORTANT CALL THEM AND SPEAK TO SOMEONE!!! You will get a gift card and in my case... A one week suspension for the Assistant Manager Christa. Don't know if it was with or without pay, but she WAS suspended for a week. Shoot Walmart don't take kindly to given up $500 cash or $1000 gift card.
Note* See eariler post to read the letter she wrote to corporate.

Krogers is Only Giving Overages in Cash if You Asked For It Otherwise they Cashed Your Receipt Out.
Each Store Was Sent a Copy of The New Policy. Overages are allowed. You can use it toward your basket purchase or get cash back but they are not telling you. So those who are not aware of the new policy won't get their overage back in cash. I tried it at two Kroger yesterday. Each time they cashed my receipt out.( at self service you pick your receipt and cash back at the self service cashier desk). When I asked for the cash from my overages they apologize then gave me the money.

Why do they Asks you When you are Buying Mutiples with Coupons are you Going to Donate that to Charity??? If you by 50 items without Coupons They don't Open Their Mouth. What They fail to Realize Coupons Are Not Free. We pay for Them. Alot might I Say.
Ranting: I don't know why the cashiers think we are getting something for free. We are not. WE ARE NOT!!!!. The Newspapers are $2 each. The gas to go get the Newpapers is High. The Ink we use to print the coupons is expensive. The printer paper we use to print the coupon on is High. The Printer we purchase to print the coupons is High. The Gas to Go to used the coupon is High. And the MOST expensive thing of ALL is the Time it Takes to Organize our Coupons .(time away from our family). Its Really Not Any Of Your Business What Couponers Do With The Items They Buy With Their Coupons. We give out of the Kindness of Our Heart and Not because You think we should.

A+ to One of the Most friendliest, professionalist, coupon knowledgeable cashier at Walmart (Westheimer/Fondren area) I have met.
Note: She gave me permission to take her picture and post it.
I have never coupon shopped at Walmart and got through the line so fast and trouble free as I did with her. Boy!! That felt good. No Stress at all. The supervisor had to approve the transaction because the amount of my coupons exceeded $40.
